“Sozandagoni Vatan”: it’s time to lead a merciless struggle against admiration for alien phenomena

Youth public organization of Tajikistan "Sozandagoni Vatan" (Creators of the Motherland) made a statement in support of the amendments proposed by the President and adopted by the Parliament to the law "On the regulation of traditions and rites", comparing them with the cultural revolution.

On the website of the state agency "Khovar" was placed a statement of the youth organization "Sozandagoni Vatan", in which young people fully supported the changes in the laws "On the regulation of traditions, celebrations and ceremonies", "On education", "On primary vocational education", "On average professional education", "On higher professional education and post-graduate professional education ".

"We, the proud youth of free and sovereign Tajikistan, the members of Youth public organization “Sozandagoni Vatan”, fully support the adopted additions and changes aimed at protecting national and cultural values, improving the quality of life of the country's inhabitants, especially young people. With the introduction of changes and additions to this law, we entered a new phase of social development, which can be compared with the cultural revolution, "- said in a statement of the youth organization.

"For us, the young heirs of the glorious history and high spiritual culture of the nation, the requirements of this law have become an important spiritual goal in the matter of national self-knowledge, an indicator of a bright path for a stable future. We, the youth, the builders of the Motherland – the true followers of the Leader of the Nation, have reached these good days thanks to following his wise, creative and unifying policy, we are studying, working and living in the best conditions, with a feeling of gratitude for the prosperous Motherland a strong state, placing national interests above other values, considering state independence and national unity sacred.

“We, with our whole being and a high sense of responsibility, realize that protecting the national feeling and ancient cultural traditions is the most important factor in the stability and independence of the state and nation. Therefore, we will protect these important political and cultural values at the cost of life, in no case we will accept foreign customs, and at any cost, we will never let the pages of the glorious history of the noble Tajik nation be tarnished" – the statement said.

According to the representatives of the youth organization, today it is the time when, with the application of the norms of this law, to begin a merciless struggle against all kinds of admiration for alien phenomena that have had their negative impact on society, families and apparels, to be trustworthy for the Leader of the nation and the population of the country.

Further in the statement it is said that the youth of the country should "Make a worthy contribution to the cause of eliminating and eradicating every kind of worship for alien phenomena, mania to consider ourselves more generous, of noble origin than the bulk, fanaticism, superstition and stubbornness, strife and intrigue on the basis of divergence, non-coincidence of cultural values, excess and splitting, and be ready for creative work for the benefit of the progress of independent Tajikistan".

"We are well aware that the adoption of amendments is aimed at ensuring the happy life of our youth, educates us in the spirit of deep respect to national values, especially the national culture, which is the main factor in strengthening our young people's national mentality", – in the final part of the statement says.
