More than twenty wagons with humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan today were transferred to the Tajik side. The total value of the cargo was almost one million US dollars.
As a humanitarian aid, Kazakhstan sent to Tajikistan 21 wagons with wheat flour, meat and dairy canned goods. The total weight of humanitarian aid received was 1,320 tons, for a total of almost $ 1 million.

– Kazakhstan annually provides humanitarian assistance to Tajikistan, for which we are very grateful to the leadership of this country, – Ziyodulloev said. – All this cargo is delivered to the balance of our agency, after which we will prepare an act on receiving assistance and send it to the government. The decision on who receives this humanitarian aid is taken by the Commission for Emergency Situations under the government of the republic, which is headed personally by the president of the country.
Ziyadulloev noted that, as a rule, humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan is distributed among victims of natural disasters.
– Indeed, Kazakhstan provides humanitarian assistance to fraternal Tajikistan every year, Saitimov said. We monitor natural disasters, to which Tajikistan is very vulnerable and understand that during these incidents the population is experiencing serious difficulties. Our help from a pure heart.
It was noted that only in 2015 Kazakhstan rendered assistance to Tajikistan in the amount of $ 4.7 million or 9.5% of the total volume of humanitarian aid received in 2015. Last year, Tajikistan received food aid from Kazakhstan totaling $ 873,000.
