President Emomali Rahmon is displeased with unfounded interference in entrepreneurs’ affairs.
His criticism, directed at inspecting bodies, came during an address to a meeting with domestic entrepreneurs and investors that took place in Dushanbe on October 14.
“Despite taken measures, there are still facts of unfounded interference of inspecting bodies in affairs of economic entities and this evokes serious concern,” President Rahmon noted, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The head of state, in particular noted that simplification of the procedure of registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs had paved the way for development of entrepreneurship in the country and increase in the number of economic entities in Tajikistan.
According to him, introduction of the one-stop-shop for business has reduced the time of registration from 49 to 5 and 3 days, the number of registration structures from 4 to 1, and the number of registration documents from 10 to 6.
The number of economic entities in Tajikistan has reached 300,000, which is 85 percent more compared to the period of the beginning of the registration process, the president noted.
Rahmon called on the Ministry of Justice, the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property (GosKomInvest) and the Tax Committee to work out a draft law on making amendments to country’s legislation for the purpose of preventing unfounded inspections of economic entities and improving the audit registration system, the president’s official website said.
