Consumer prices and tariffs reportedly rise on average 6.0 percent in Tajikistan

Tajikistan’s inflation for the first ten months of this year has stood at 6.0 percent, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

Last month, inflation in Tajikistan reported stood at 0.4 percent.  

Meanwhile, the annual Tajikistan’s inflation rate for October 2017 was recorded at 7.0 percent.

Tajik central bank notes that the target year-end rate for 2017 is 7.0 percent.  

Last year, the year-end inflation rate in Tajikistan was 6.1 percent

In 2016, the highest inflation rate was reported in January – 1.4 percent.

The lowest inflation rate last year was reported in March, May and October – 0.2 percent.
