A two-month deflation process was interrupted in Tajikistan in April.
In April, inflation rate stood in Tajikistan stood at 0.5 percent, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
Inflation reportedly resulted from increasing prices food products and non-foods.
Last month, non-foods rose in cost by 0.2 percent and prices for food products rose 0.9 percent, according to the NBT press center.
Meanwhile, rates for services rendered to the population last month reportedly fell 0.1 percent.
Tajik central bank notes that inflation last month appeared under the influence of seasonal factors.
Recall, Tajikistan’s year-end inflation for 2017 has been estimated at 6.7 percent.
Tajik central bank had previously forecast that the year-end inflation for last year would to stand at 7.0 percent.
