Deputy Prime Minister, Azim Ibrohim, today morning visited Dushanbe-1 and Dushanbe-2 combined heat and power (CHP) plants as well as the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) “Dushanbe Heating Mains” and Dushanbe’s boiler houses to get acquainted with preparations taken by them to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during autumn-winter 2018-2019.
Mr. Ibrohim noted that 1,700 apartment buildings would be connected to the centralized heating system this year. “In the Firdavsi district alone, 56 new apartment buildings will be connected to the centralized heating system this year,” Tajik official noted.
The deputy prime minister ordered to complete preparations for the upcoming winter by September 15, a source in the government told Asia-Plus in an interview.
This year, Dushanbe-1 CHP plant will work on natural gas that will allow increasing generation of electricity and heat, the source added.
