The World Bank has provided 600,000 U.S. dollars to buy twenty ambulances for Tajik remote areas, according to the press center of the Ministry of health and Social Protection.
Manufactured in China, ambulances Foton are reportedly provided with all necessary the state-of-the-art equipment.
The ambulances will be used in remote settlements, which are located far from cities and district administrative centers.
The vehicles will be sent to Devashtich, Mastchoh, Farkhor, Danghara, Yovon, Jaloliddin-Balkhi and Ishkashim districts, the press center said.
