On Wednesday March 27, Tajik Foreign Minister, Mr. Sirojiddin Muhriddin, met in New York with the UN Secretary-General, Mr. Antonio Guterres.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, the parties discussed issues related cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations.
They reportedly also exchanged views on the current situation in the region and Afghanistan and the issues of countering terrorism.
Besides, Muhriddin and Guterres discussed cooperation on the implementation of the International Decade of Action “Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028.”
