President Emomali Rahmon today morning left for his hometown Danghara in Khatlon province on a working visit, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
The purpose of the visit is for the president to get acquainted with the state of agriculture in the region and hold meeting with regional administrators.
While in Danghara, Emomali Rahmon will also inaugurate a number of new economic and social facilities in the district.
On arrival in Danghara, President Rahmon reportedly visited an agricultural exhibition. During a meeting with farmers, the head of state ordered to increase production of ecologically clean agricultural products.
