The two sides also discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and Bangladesh within the framework of regional and international organizations.

They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues being of mutual interests, including joint efforts to address modern global challenges and threats.

Recall, Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid arrived in Dushanbe yesterday evening for participation in the fifth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Bangladesh media reports say President M Abdul Hamid left Dhaka for Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on a seven-day official visit.
