Rolling blackouts going on in some areas of Tajik capital

Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Tajik capital and fifteen streets and nine neighborhoods in Dushanbe will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Alisher Navoi, Sari Osiyo, Moyonsho Nazarshoyev, Matrosov, Gastello, Titov, Ulughbek, Afzali, Franco, Zafar, Pionerskaya, Yesenin, Julius Fučík, Karine Mane and Energetiki streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network told Asia-Plus in an interview.

“Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Jangalak, Dugoba, Kharangon, Dahana, Dehnavaki Bolo, Khujanbiyoni Bolo, Khujanbiyoni Poyon, Mehrobod and Navobod neighborhoods,” the source added.
