Head of Tajikistan’s State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest) Farrukh Hamralizoda and Deputy Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Kang Meng Su addressed the meeting, according to the GosKomInvest press center.

The meeting participants reportedly discussed issues related to trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea and strengthening of the regional trade.

An exhibition of goods of Tajikistan’s producers was held on the sidelines of the forum.  Besides, a number of B2B meetings were held, the GosKomInvest press center said.

As part of their visit, Korean businesspeople also visited the Tajik Aluminum Company (TALCO), Danghara Free Economic Zone (FEZ Danghara), OJSC Guliston (Dushanbe-based garment factory) and the Production Association “Nasojii Tojik”.

The two sides reportedly agreed to hold meetings of representatives of the business communities of the two countries regularly.
