Asia-Plus

The largest share of exports is cement.

Tajikistan exports construction materials almost twice as much as imports them.

According to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic, for the seven months of this year, building materials worth $ 41.5 million were exported outside the country. But such products worth $ 24.7 million were imported over this period..

The Ministry of Industry notes that the growth in the export of building materials is ensured by the supply of Tajik cement to neighboring countries.

In January-July this year, these products were sold abroad in the amount of $ 41.3 million, which is 99.5% of the total export of building materials.

The republic imports mainly facing plates (for $ 11 million over seven months), as well as glass ($ 5 million), drywall ($ 1.6 million), etc.
