The developers of the draft law of Tajikistan “On the state budget for 2020” predict that 308 million more somoni will be allocated for the education sector of Tajikistan, compared with the current year, said a source in the economic bloc of the government of the republic.

At the same time, he noted that Tajikistan intends to increase funding for education annually.

Nearly 5 billion somoni will be allocated to education in 2021, and 5.3 billion somoni in 2022.

According to the source, the total budget of Tajikistan in 2020 will amount to over 45 billion somoni, which is 274 million more compared to the budget for the current year.
