Tajik archaeologists in the Khulbuk settlement managed to find the so-called “Obsofkunak” – a water purifier.
The find dates back to 9-10 centuries AD, the time of the Samanids empire, the press center of the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan reports.
Scientists claim that then a water supply network worked in Khulbuk and the find was used to clean the water of this network.
Khulbuk – an archaeological complex in Vose district – is a medieval fortress, a palace of the ruler and fragments of an ancient settlement.
