Tajikistan in July this year exported about 30% of the total electricity generated in the republic.

This month, Tajikistan supplied almost 640 million kW/h of electricity to neighboring countries, according to the monthly report of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan “Monitoring and Early Warning in Tajikistan”.

The total volume of electricity generation in the republic for this period amounted to 2.1 billion kW/h.

According to the Ministry of Energy, in the first half of this year, 1 billion 257.4 million kWh of electricity was exported.

At the expense of sold electricity to neighbors in the first half of the year, 230 million somoni (about $ 25 million) was generated.

According to previous agreements, Tajikistan will supply over 3.2 billion kW/h of electricity this year.
