With the beginning of the new school year, the Dushanbe City Hall increased the number of public transport by 25%, reported in the administration of the mayor of the capital.

According to the source, about 1.3 thousand minibuses, 300 buses and 60 trolley buses go out on routes in the city every day.

«According to our estimates, such a quantity of transport is sufficient to serve guests and residents of the city», – source said.

He also noted that in the morning and evening hours, when the flow of passengers increases, additional buses and minibuses go to the routes.

«By the end of the year, another 100 AKIA buses will be purchased at the expense of the City Hall», – the representative of the city hall emphasized.
