Over the first ten months of this year, the external trade turnover of Tajikistan has amounted to 3.663 billion U.S. dollars, which was 104.9 percent of the January-October 2018, according the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.
The trade balance over the report period was negative and amounted to more than 1.7 billion U.S. dollars.
In January-October, exports of goods have reportedly amounted to 961 million U.S. dollars
Over the same ten-month period, imports of goods into the country have amounted to more than 2.7 billion U.S. dollars.
In January-October, Tajikistan has reportedly had trade relations with 102 countries of the world, including ten CIS nations.
Over the first ten months of this year, the major trading partners of Tajikistan were Russia (the two-way trade between Tajikistan and Russia has valued at about 860 million US dollars over the report period), Kazakhstan (715 million U.S. dollars), China (526 million U.S. dollars), Turkey (307 million U.S. dollars), and Uzbekistan (295 million U.S. dollars).
