Avaz Yuldashev, Asia-Plus

Among the personnel of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, not a single fact of infection of soldiers and officers with a coronavirus infection has been revealed. The defense department claims that the quarantine measures introduced in time helped.

Today, at the direction of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan, the commanders of all military units and formations have tightened control over personal hygiene among personnel, Defense Ministry spokesman Orif Nozimiyon said.

According to him, the country's military doctors are constantly monitoring the state of Tajik soldiers and officers.

Every day, all military units are disinfected: equipment, barracks, messes, all field exercises are canceled.
