A deputy of the city majlis Dilshod Saidzoda, accompanied by activists of the ruling People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan, yesterday visited the metropolitan areas of Badakhshan-1 and Nisormuhammad.

The son of the personal bodyguard of the President of Tajikistan, Murod Saidov, is 30-year-old Dilshod Saidzoda, who works as the head of the State Assay Inspection Inspectorate under the Ministry of Finance, and was elected deputy of the capital's Majlis in March.

Dilshod Saidzoda yesterday visited two metropolitan areas, and distributed antiseptics and masks to their residents.

He urged people not to panic, not to believe the unfounded rumors about the spread of coronavirus in the country.

The father of the capital’s deputy, Murod Saidov, has been the personal bodyguard of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon since the end of 1992.
