The head of WHO in Tajikistan cites the work of doctors in Sughd as an example

The experience and work of the staff of medical institutions of the Sughd region are presented as an example for other countries, said the head of the WHO office in Tajikistan Bakhtigul Karryeva at a meeting with the head of the region, Rajabboy Akhmadzoda on November 16.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the epidemiological situation and measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, the press service of the chairman of the Sughd region reports.

The head of the region noted that the regional administration allocated the necessary funds for the timely delivery of the necessary medical equipment and medicines and is monitoring the situation.

Bakhtigul Karryeva expressed satisfaction with the work of doctors in the region and noted that the experience and work of employees of medical institutions of the Sughd region is presented as an example for other countries.
