Compatriots and natives of Tajikistan living abroad now can gain a three-year multiple visa to enter Tajikistan, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

The three-year multiple visa is reportedly issued to compatriots and natives of Tajikistan living abroad in normal mode.

During his last year’s address to both chambers of parliament, President Emomali Rahmon ordered the Foreign Ministry to organize the issuance of such visas to compatriots and natives of Tajikistan living abroad.

The head of sate called it “an important measure within the framework of declaring 2019-2021 the Years of Development of Rural Areas, Tourism and Folk Crafts in Tajikistan and for attraction of more tourists to the country.”

A three-year multiple-entry visa is a specific type of visa that allows the visa holder to enter Tajikistan multiple times within three years.
