A young woman from Panjakent (northern Sughd province) has killed her three children and then herself in a murder-suicide.
The Interior Ministry’s website says a 33-year-old Shahlo Sharipova, a resident of Neknot village subordinate to the northern city of Panjakent, hanged her three children and then herself following family quarrel. The tragedy took place on April 10.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted over the incident and an investigation is under way.
