The foreign minister said at the meeting that the vibrant Turkish business community strengthens Ankara's relations with Tajikistan.

Anadolu Agency, citing Turkish Foreign Ministry, notes Turkey is among the top three countries which assisted Tajikistan during the pandemic.

Between 2009 and 2019, Turkey reportedly made investments to the tune of US$200 million in Tajikistan.

In 2020, the bilateral trade between the two countries valued at US$322 million.

Moreover, Turkish contractors have undertaken 52 projects worth $660 million in the country, according to Anadolu Agency.
