The Uzbek edition of the book “Tojikon dar Oinai Tarikh” (The Tajiks in the Mirror of History) authored by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has been presented in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent.   

On the initiative of the former Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Sodiq Imomi and udder support of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan, the presentation ceremony has taken place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan.   

The presentation ceremony was attended by the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan, chiefs of diplomatic missions, director of the International Institute for Central Asian Studies, rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan, senior representatives of the National university of Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, deputy editor-in-chief of Ovozi Tojik (The Voice of the Tajik) newspaper and other people, according to the Tajik MFA information department.         

Recall, the French edition of “The Tajiks in the Mirror of History” was first presented at the European Parliament in March 2014, followed by a presentation at the Royal Museums of Art and History to leading scientists of the European Union in Brussels early May, 2014.

The French edition followed Russian, English, German, Arabic, Chinese and Persian editions.     

The Tajik town of Hisor has a monument to the president's book.  The monument was installed in the town in 2016.
