Following the national air carrier Tajik Air and Closed Joint-Stock Company (CJSC) Sozidaniye LLC, the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) has been granted a license to provide special services for foreign currency.  The license has been granted to Tajikairnavigation for three years, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) press center.

The NBT Department for International Reserves Management and Exchange Rate Policy has been ordered to put Tajikairnavigation on the relevant registry.

Under Tajikistan’s law on currency regulation and currency control, the following types of activities on carrying out foreign currency related transactions require a license issued by the government: duty free shops; special services in foreign currency; currency exchange offices of authorized persons; and mediation in the international foreign exchange market.

By Government’ resolution the State Unitary Enterprise Tajikairnavigation was established on October 1, 2008.  The company was established by separating from the State Unitary Aviation Enterprise Tajik Air.
