Rolling blackouts resumed in some areas of Dushanbe yesterday in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.
“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Sadriddin-Ayni and Jamila streets from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” said an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network.
“Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Sariosio, Mehnat, Surkhob, Dahana, Gularvar, Chimteppa, Ispechak, Somoni and Yakkachinor neighborhood units,” the source added.
Last year, the practice of rolling blackouts in Dushanbe was completed in June.
