7 million flowers planted for SCO summit in Dushanbe

SCO summit will be held tomorrow

By the anniversary SCO summit, the Tajik capital has turned into one big flower garden: about seven million flowers have been planted in the city.

To draw up a landscape design project, a special group was created under the leadership of the Vice-Mayor of Dushanbe Tolib Rahimzoda. he group includes well-known Tajik designers, architects, flower growers, a source in the capital's mayor's office said..

The floral design of the capital was personally approved by the mayor of the city, Rustam Emomali.

Chrysanthemums, begonias, petunias and salvias are planted on the streets, in parks and squares of the capital.
