In mid-October, at the "Harbmaidon" training ground, which is located in close proximity to the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan, three exercises in the CSTO format will take place at once.

These are the exercises of the Poisk-2021 reconnaissance units, the Echelon-2021 logistics units and the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces – Interaction-2021, a source in the republic's defense department said.

According to him, the preparation for the above exercises was discussed in Dushanbe by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces – First Deputy Minister of Defense of Tajikistan, Lieutenant General Emomali Sobirzoda and Chief of Staff of the Central Military District (CVO), Lieutenant General Mikhail Teplinsky.

To date, the states that are members of the CSTO agree on the exact date of the exercises and the number of forces and assets that will be involved in them.
