A song “Camarob” performed by Tajik singer Safarmuhammad Rustam is among favorite songs of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

“Music brings people together–it transcends borders and everything else that might otherwise divide us. As we close 2021, I'm sharing some of my favorite songs released this year (or recently), by artists around the world. Hope you enjoy as much as I have,” Mr. Blinken twitted on December 31.

The song is put on Secretary’s 2021 playlist: On the Road.

The Secretary of State notes that music has been a constant in his life and he wanted to share some of his favorite songs released last year (or recently) by artists from across the globe.

“No matter where we live, music can inspire us,” Mr. Binken notes.
