On the territory of the rural jamoat named after B. Gafurov in the Sughd region, a fatal accident occurred on the night of September 1.
«A 43-year-old resident of this jamoat, while driving towards the city of Khujand in an Opel Astra G car, lost control and flew into a ravine 15-20 meters deep. The driver died at the scene as a result of the accident», – the press service of the Committee for Emergency Situations reports.
According to the source, rescuers with the help of climbing equipment removed the body of the driver from the wrecked car and handed it over to law enforcement agencies.
