President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the press service of Akorda reports.
The heads of the two states discussed the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian fields, and exchanged views on topical issues on the regional agenda.
The successful interaction between the governments of the two countries was noted, including the positive dynamics of mutual trade.
Tokayev congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday, wishing him further success in responsible state activities for the benefit of the prosperity of the fraternal people of Tajikistan, noted in the message.
