Tajik central bank revokes licenses of two payment system operators

By decision of the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) licenses of two payment system operators, namely MoneyGram Payment Systems, Inc. and BEST, have been revoked.

Tajik financial regulator’s press center says the companies’ licenses have been revoked due to the expiration of the licenses’ terms.  

Withdrawal of licenses of these payment system operators has reduced the number of payment system operators in the country to 15, the press center says.
