According to the preliminary data, six schools and preschool institutions, 250 kilometers of roads, 27 bridges, 15.2 kilometers of electricity transmission lines, 87.7 kilometers of river bank protection works, 800 meters of communications links, 92.6 kilometers of water supply lines and canals, 14.7 kilometers of mudslide drain systems, 2 kilometers of water and sewer networks, 10 pump stations and waterworks, 25 fish ponds and 1,076 hectares of farmland were damaged by natural disasters last month.

Besides, 137 head of cattle, 501 cattle of sheep and goods, 62 head of poultry and 169 bee colonies were killed by natural disasters last month.

There is no mention of human casualties in the Emergencies Committee’s press release issued on June 3.

The mudslides were registered in Sughd and Khatlon province, and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), as well as in several districts surrounding Dushanbe.  The mudflows reportedly left dead two women in Varzob district and one woman in the village of Bodomazor, which is subordinate to the city of Istaravshan in Sughd province.
