Tajik, Chinese foreign ministers meet in Chengdu to discuss cooperation

Tajikistan Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhridding met on December 1 in Chengdu, China, with the Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Wang Yi.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 5th Meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central Asia-China format

The Tajik MFA information department says the two discussed the state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and China and the process of implementing agreements reached at the highest level, and cooperation in various fields were discussed.

The reportedly also exchanged views on a number of regional international issues being of mutual interest.
