The Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of Tajikistan has presented the official symbol of the "Years of Development of the Digital Economy and Innovation 2025-2030," the agency reports.
"This symbol is not only an element of visual identity, but also a symbol of the strong will of our state towards creating a powerful digital ecosystem and stimulating innovations that promote technological progress for the benefit of every citizen of the country. The design of the symbol reflects the main priority of continuity, development and integration of advanced technologies in all sectors of the economy across the country," the Agency said in a statement.
This symbol will be used at all events, in communications and official databases related to the Years of development of the digital economy and innovation, "providing a single and recognizable image of common goals." The agency considers it "as uniting all initiatives" within the framework of the upcoming five-year plan.
In early January of this year, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon signed a decree declaring 2025-2030 the "Years of Digital Economy Development and Innovation." The aim of the initiative is to accelerate the digitalization of all industries in the country and strengthen its position in the global technological environment.
Among the measures planned for the coming years are the creation of a regulatory framework for the effective development of the digital economy; the introduction of 5G technologies; digitalization of public services; promotion of artificial intelligence technologies; ensuring cybersecurity, and others.
