Tajikistan signed 52 cooperation agreements totaling US$4.1 billion during the Dushanbe Invest – 2025 International Investment Forum, according to Sulton Rahimzoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management (GosKomInvest). The announcement came on October 15, following the conclusion of the main event.
Among the signed agreements, US17 deals worth $501 million are specifically aimed at the development of Dushanbe, the country’s capital, Rahimzoda noted.
Global participation and thematic focus
The forum attracted 1,500 delegates from 50 countries, including high-level government officials, executives from leading corporations, and representatives of major financial institutions.
The event featured:
- Three plenary sessions, including one focused entirely on Dushanbe’s investment potential
- 12 thematic panel discussions and several roundtables covering topics such as:
- Green investment
- Digitalization and artificial intelligence
- Urban development
- Industry and agriculture
- Tourism and finance
- Public-private partnerships
Over 20 side events were also held, addressing issues such as entrepreneurship, green technologies, women’s role in the economy, franchising, the insurance market, and regional development.
Showcasing domestic and international innovation
An international exhibition was held alongside the forum, featuring products, goods, and technologies from 42 domestic and foreign companies.
Sulton Rahimzoda emphasized that Dushanbe Invest – 2025 further solidified Tajikistan’s standing as a reliable and transparent long-term investment partner on the global stage.
