In 2025, startups from Tajikistan have increasingly expanded beyond the local market. Their solutions are already being used in government structures, banks, educational projects, and online retail — not as experiments but as operational tools.
Epsilon3.ai
Epsilon3.ai is a startup from Tajikistan that develops applied AI solutions for public administration and the public sector. The co-founder of epsilon3.ai is Najima Noyoftova, an IT and AI expert and vice-chairwoman of the AI Council at the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies.
The company focuses on automating management and regulatory processes, analytics, forecasting, and the implementation of artificial intelligence in the everyday work of government agencies.
The flagship product is Project AI-GOV, a project for the digital transformation of the public sector, developed in collaboration with Perplexity AI.
Epsilon3.ai is the exclusive partner of Perplexity AI in Central Asia and is responsible for the localization and implementation of solutions in the region's government structures.
As part of the AI-GOV project, solutions from the company were implemented in the Ministry of Industry, making it the first ministry in the world to use agent-based AI browsers and applied AI tools in daily operations.
Epsilon3.ai's products are aimed at government agencies, public services, and national companies. Their solutions are applied in energy, industry, territorial and housing planning. The company is currently operating in six markets, applying AI solutions in real processes.
The startup attracted $240,000 in investment from White Hill Capital, IT Park Ventures, and Battery Road Holdings, with an estimated valuation of $5 million.
Zypl.ai
Zypl.ai is a fintech startup from Tajikistan working with AI solutions for banks and microfinance organizations. The company was founded by Azizjon Azimi.
Zypl.ai specializes in credit scoring, fraud detection, forecasting, and automation, using its own zGAN synthetic data technology. This approach allows financial institutions to make more accurate decisions, especially in conditions of limited historical data.
During its Pre-Series A round, zypl.ai was valued at $40 million. Investors include the Dutch holding Prosus and the Silicon Valley venture fund Carbide Ventures — both of whom made their first investment in Central Asia.
Zypl.ai’s team’s research has been accepted for presentation at NeurIPS 2025, the largest international AI conference. This is the first time a project from Central Asia has gained recognition at such a platform. The research focuses on the sustainability of financial models in unstable economic conditions and demonstrates how synthetic data helps maintain system reliability during currency fluctuations and crises.
A notable initiative is Project Soro, a collaboration between zypl.ai and UNICEF. This is the first national initiative to implement AI in the education system, aimed at developing digital learning and forming future-demand skills in schoolchildren.
WYZO
WYZO is a SaaS platform for small and medium-sized businesses that helps quickly launch online stores and enter e-commerce. The founder and CEO of the startup is Abror Kholov.
The platform enables businesses to launch within hours instead of months of development, using ready-made modules and components.
WYZO is focused not only on companies selling goods but also on businesses offering services. The platform can be used to create a full-fledged website or online store with the possibility of further customization. Unlike standard website builders, WYZO’s solution allows local features to be considered and products to be tailored to specific markets.
The company places a special focus on retailers — businesses that purchase products from suppliers and sell them to end customers. The platform helps these businesses go online without complex setups or expensive custom development. WYZO’s team also handles localization, integration with local accounting systems, delivery services, and other systems.
In 2025, the company began expanding into the Uzbekistan market, continuing to develop the product with an emphasis on launch speed and practical solutions for businesses.
Zehnlab.ai
Zehnlab.ai is an R&D laboratory developing language models and computer vision models for applied tasks. The focus is on building and adapting language models for multilingual environments and dialects, as well as creating computer vision solutions for object detection, classification, segmentation, text recognition, and image and video analysis. The Chief Operating Officer of zehnlab.ai is Bono Boboyeva.
One of the key projects is SoroLLM, Tajikistan’s first national language model, which understands mixed Russian-Tajik speech and local dialects.
Achievements include participation in the NVIDIA Inception Program, reaching the finals of the European deep-tech accelerator Constructor Group, completing the Misk Accelerator in Saudi Arabia, and receiving the Best AI Development award by AICA.
Re-skill
Re-skill is an AI platform for corporate training that helps companies turn internal knowledge into practical training programs for employees. The startup was founded by Farrukh Umarov (CEO) and Said Homidov (CTO).
The product was initially designed with a focus on launch speed, ease of use, and practical results, especially for large teams and complex organizations.
The first versions of Re-skill were targeted at students and individual users. This stage allowed the team to deeply understand how people perceive learning and which formats actually work.
In 2025, the company deliberately shifted its focus towards the corporate sector — banks, large corporations, and government organizations, where scalability and training effectiveness are crucial.
This year, Re-skill was selected for the Google for Startups AI Accelerator, becoming one of 14 companies chosen from over 400 startups in the MENA region and Turkey. During the 12-week program, the team worked with Google experts on product architecture, AI pipelines, and scaling strategies. As part of the program, the startup also received $350,000 in Google Cloud credits, accelerating AI infrastructure development.
At the same time, Re-skill began collaborating with major corporate clients in the GCC region, focusing on the UAE as a strategic entry point. Partners and pilot projects include Daikin, the government of Abu Dhabi, and Emirates Global Aluminium. The company is also working with clients in Saudi Arabia, banks in Egypt, international tech ecosystems such as Solana, and projects in Kazakhstan.
Simultaneously, the startup is expanding its presence in the domestic market, working with the banking sector of Tajikistan.
LakLak
LakLak is a Tajik marketplace founded in 2023 by Iftikhori Yusufi.
At the start, it was a small warehouse of about 30 square meters. In a short time, the project grew into a national online platform that connects sellers and buyers and handles key processes of the transaction.
LakLak is not just an app but a built infrastructure. The company now owns a fleet of vehicles and motorcycles, sorting centers, a courier team, 160 smart parcel lockers, warehouse complexes, and an IT platform with proprietary software.
The product is developed by a local team of 17 developers, and each part of the system is designed with growth in mind.
The technical foundation of the platform is built on Go, ensuring speed and stability under high load. The mobile app is developed on Flutter, which ensures stable performance on both Android and iOS.
AI is integrated into the product seamlessly for the user but actively participates in the platform's operations: it helps with product searches, answers questions, improves recommendations, and automates processes for sellers.
An additional area of development is the BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) model, which allows customers to purchase goods with deferred payments without complicated procedures. Also under development is the LakLak AI Station — a voice device that will allow purchases without using a smartphone.
Today, the marketplace offers more than 50,000 products — from household goods to clothing, cosmetics, electronics, and everyday essentials.
