ADB says Uzbekistan’s economy to grow by 8% in 2008-2009

Asian Development Bank said that the economy of Uzbekistan will increase by 8% in 2008 and 2009. The bank published its Asian Development Outlook 2008 Update (ADP Update), which raises projected GDP growth for 2008 from 7.8% to 8.0% and for 2009 from 7.2% to 8.0%.
