DUSHANBE, December 4, 2012, Asia-Plus  — A December 4 meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, presided over by Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, discussed measures taken by the municipal authorities to ensure the regular work of the city’s economy during autumn-winter 2012-2013.

Relevant municipal services were ordered to repair sidewalks and provide the population with passenger transport services and communal services, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, said.

According to him, the mayor also ordered relevant bodies to study experience of the Kazakh city of Almaty and other modern megalopolises in avoiding traffic jams and study the issue of setting up the toll on-street car parking in the Tajik capital.
