DUSHANBE, February 25, 2013, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon yesterday participated in laying out a new park in Dushanbe.

According to the president’s official website, magnolias, chestnuts, oaks and silver firs were planted on an area of 10 hectares around the Navrouzgoh Complex.   Artificial waterfall and fountains will be constructed in the new park.

The head of state called on residents of Tajikistan to participate actively in tree-planting campaigns.
