DUSHANBE, October 13, 2008, Asia-Plus  — An official ceremony of opening of Days of Tajik Culture in India is being in New Delhi today.  

According to the Ministry of Culture (MoC), Days of Tajik Culture are held in India for the first time.  Tajik delegation that is participating in this event consists of representatives of artistes and creative and is led by the Minister of Culture Mirzoshorukh Asrori.  

The Days’ program includes a book show dedicated to founder of the Tajik-Persian classical literature Abu Abdullo Roudaki, as well as photo and art exhibitions of works by Tajik artists. 

Days of Tajik Culture will last till October 18.  Next year, Indian delegation will represent its cultural program in Tajikistan, the source at a MoC said.
