DUSHANBE, September 19, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Presentation of a practical manual for non-commercial organizations and entrepreneurs of Central Asia, entitled “How to Attract Attention from the Media to Your Organizations,” was held in Khujand, Sughd province on September 18.

The manual was prepared by employees of Journalists’ Association Media Group & Mercy (MGM) under technical support of the USAID Business Environment Improvement (BEI) Project.

According to MGM, representatives from many business associations of Tajikistan attended the event.  The manual includes initial recommendations on writing articles, determining quality of work of journalists, technologies of the preparation of news and other themes necessary for establishing contacts with media structures. 

The source at MGM said that in the near future, this practical manual will be distributed to Dushanbe and other regions of the country and it will also be reissued in Almaty and Bishkek for Kazakh and Kyrgyz entrepreneurs.
