DUSHANBE, September 15, 2008, Asia-Plus — A two-day exhibition of books printed by Russian publishing houses will open in Dushanbe on September 17.
The exhibition will be held at Tajik State Teachers’ Training University in Dushanbe and more than 350 novelties of educational-methodological, scientific literature as well as textbooks, fictions and children’s literature will be put on display in the exhibition.
According to Tajik State Teachers’ Training University, the exhibition is held to promote popularization of the Russian language, culture, education and science in Tajikistan.
A number of events, including readers’ conference and seminars for teachers and publishers, will be held on sidelines of the exhibition.
