DUSHANBE, September 13, 2008, Asia-Plus — As of September 1, 2008, a loan portfolio of open joint-stock company (OJSC) Orienbonk, which is one of Tajikistan’s largest financial institutions, has amounted to 611.082 million somonis (equivalent to more than $178.825 million), according to Orienbonk’s press service.
In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in local currency were: private commercial enterprises – 79.58 percent; agricultural enterprises – 15.24 percent; state-owned enterprises – 1.35 percent; and physical entities – 3.83 percent.
In the distribution cross section the proportions of enterprises in foreign currencies were: private commercial enterprises – 51.72 percent; agricultural enterprises – 19.83 percent; state-owned enterprises – 28.24 percent; and physical entities – 0.21 percent.
We will recall that as of August 1, 2008, Orienbonk’s loan portfolio amounted to 598.507 million somonis.
