KHUJAND, September 5, 2008, Asia-Plus — An educational facility Fayz will probably be placed in a building of the school Sonmin in Khujand.
The school Sonmin has been suspended from functioning and more than 220 its pupils have been distributed to other schools in the city.
Ms. Dilbar Ismoilova, deputy head of the Sughd education directorate, said that the school Fayz, founded by a private individual, had already been registered, and “it just remained to solve the premises issue.” According to her, they have applied to the Ministry of Education (MoE) and if the ministry permits, the school will start functioning.
“However, it will take time, because ministry will set up the attestation commission to inspect the school for compliance with standards adopted in the country,” Ismoilova said.
