DUSHANBE, February 12, 2014, Asia-Plus – Shohamdam Nazriddinov, former head of the limited liability company “Gold Refining Factory “Pamir” located in Vahdat Township, is suspected of embezzling 2 million somoni (equivalent to some 416,000 U.S. dollars).

The Interior Ministry’s website notes that Shohamdam Nazriddinov, 60, sold various materials and spare parts for vehicles belonging to the plant in 2011-2012 and misappropriated 2 million somoni made from the sale of the plant property.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Nazriddinov and an investigation is under way.
