IDUSHANBE, February 21, 2014, Asia-Plus – Innovative Road Solutions (IRS), which operates the toll on the Dushanbe-Chanak highway, warns about risk of avalanches on the Varzob section of the highway.
According the IRS press center, a series of avalanches occurred on the section of the highway from 62nd to 72nd kilometer and the risk of further avalanches remains high.
Although the highway is opened for traffic, the company recommends drivers to refrain from unnecessary travels.
