More than 3,200 tons of humanitarian aid delivered to Tajikistan in Jan-Feb 2014

DUSHANBE, March 17, 2014, Asia-Plus – Twenty-three countries of the world have provided more than 6.3 million U.S. dollars worth of more than 3,200 tons of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan in January-February this year, according to the Agency for Statistics under the President of Tajikistan.

Over the report period, among the donor countries the greatest share in value came from the Russian Federation – 24.2 percent; the United States – 23.3 percent; South Korea – 15.8 percent; the Netherlands – 9.2 percent; China – 8.2 percent; Germany – 5.2 percent; Estonia – 3.3 percent; Iran – 1.5 percent; Latvia – 1.2 percent; Turkey – 0.8 percent; Ukraine – 0.3 percent.

In January-February this year, Ukraine has reportedly provided some 2,000 U.S. dollars worth of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan.
