DUSHANBE, April 28, 2014, Asia-Plus — Two Afghan nationals – Said Ikram waladi Said Islam, 39, and Khairmahmad Mohammad Isa, 32 – have been detained by Tajik police on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking, Tajik Interior Ministry’s website reported on April 28.

Several packages of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing more than 36 kilograms were reportedly confiscated from them.

Besides, Dushanbe resident Dilshod Laqayev, 40, and Khatlon’s Farkhor district resident Jamshed Yusufov, 36, have been detained in Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district on suspicion of drug peddling.  7.93 kilograms of raw opium were confiscated from them, the website said.
